Job Summary:
Performs administrative and clinical duties under provider direction. Administrative duties include scheduling appointments, reviewing inventory, and documenting data. Clinical duties include taking vital signs, preparing patients, and drawing blood.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling appointments
Reviewing inventory for expired supplies
Documenting data in Electronic Health Records
Maintaining medical records
Taking and recording vital signs and medical histories
Preparing patients for examination
Drawing blood
Requirements:
Graduated from a formal MA training program or LPN diploma
None to 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficient computer skills
Certification from a recognized program (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or LPN)
BLS certification within 90 days
