Job DescriptionPerform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a provider. Administrative duties include scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records. Clinical duties include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and drawing blood.
Requirements• Education: Graduated from a formal MA training program or an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma• Experience: None required, previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work independently and collaboratively in a team• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certification from a program recognized by CoxHealth, such as CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or LPN. Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire
