Contracts Support Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:Provide contracting assistance to technical personnel involved in development of statement of work or data deliverable requirements for variety of pre-award and or post award procurement actions.Assist with contract negotiation, price reasonableness determination, administration and termination procedures.Assist e government client in preparing contract modifications and supporting documentation for actions such as funding, award fee, period of performance extensions, and administrative modifications.Monitor and evaluate contractor performance for compliance with contract terms/conditions and ensure timely submission of contract deliverablesRequired Skills and Experience:
Works well in small and large teamsDemonstrated ability to coordinate between government organizations and summarize information for presentationsProficiency preparing contract files for reviewMust have 7 years plus of experience with contract administration, subcontract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparationMust have experience with various contract types, including fixed-price, time and material, cost reimbursable, and General Service Administration (GSA) schedules, such as government-wide acquisition contracts, blanket purchase agreements (BPAs), and rapid response IDIQsMust have knowledge of federal government contractingMust have knowledge of federal acquisition regulation (FAR) and agency supplementsMust be ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clientsMust be able to function in a fast pace, team focused environment.Analyzing procurement policies and procedures, as well as proposed costs and prices.Assist with procuring services using various types of contracts.Assist with administration of various type of contracts.Requires knowledge of firm fixed price, IDIQ, GSA, cost and award fee contracts.Proficient in preparing pre- and post-award documentation.Effective oral and written communication skills.TS SCI is requiredDesired Skills and Experience:

Compensation:
The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000.00 (annualized USD).
