Our client is a leading manufacturer of shelf-stable foods such as mayonnaise, salad dressings, sauces, and more. The mission for the Production Manager is to maintain the exceptional reputation of our client, which has made them one of the premiere suppliers to leading businesses around the world for 60 years!
The Production Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of th e production staff and efficient manufacturing of products. They will hire, train, develop, motivate and mentor employees. Evaluate, analyze, review and monitor work activities for quality and quantity. Recommend solutions to reduce non-productive efforts to increase productivity.
Candidates MUST HAVE 5+ years of Production Management experience in food manufacturing.Must be permanently authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Compensation/Benefits:
$100,000 - $112,000 starting salary compensation rangeGenerous Company contribution towards employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD, and more!401k / RetirementVacation and Holiday payNational or Regional relocation assistance is provided within the USAKey Responsibilities and Goals:
Oversee and manage production operations.Analyze, report, and resolve issues as they arise.Recommend solutions to prevent recurrence of similar problems.Supervise daily production, including weighing ingredients, processing, filling, labeling, capping, and packaging.Collaborate with Maintenance and Quality Control to meet production goals.Conduct weekly departmental meetings and report findings to the Plant Manager.Coordinate with R&D and QA on regular, new, and special production tests and product enhancements.Work with the Plant Manager to create and maintain SOPs for production activities, including safety and GMPs.Always ensure compliance with all safety and company policies.Competencies Needed for Success:
5+ years of Production Management in food processing environmentPrevious supervisory/managerial experience.Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Intermediate Proficiency.Must be able to lead by example and motivate employees to create a challenging, empowering and collaborative working environment.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (combination of education credits and relevant full-time experience).Must be permanently authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.Referrals are our best source for the top talent our clients need so if you know of anyone with these skills in the food and beverage industry, please pass me their name and email/phone number, or share this job posting with them.
