About the Role:
As a Post-Award Grants Consultant supporting our Federal government client, you will support the development of pre-award and post-award processes for a nationwide Federal grant program. You will create and update policies and procedures, develop and update grant reports, providing oversight of monitoring progress and activities, and support the tracking and responses related to stakeholder inquiries. As this work focuses on the design of new processes, the ideal candidate will be flexible, adept at taking in new information and adjusting work products accordingly, and comfortable with some degree of ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Day-to-day post-award execution for for a nationwide Federal grant program
Creating or updating post-award grant-related guidance, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and report templates for the grants program
Supporting the design and implementation of monitoring activities for the grants program, including processes for tracking and reporting on monitoring and performance data, risk assessments, etc., and coordinating with technology support teams on the design of post-award technology solutions
Contributing to work plan development, reaching engagement milestones, and leading specific project tasks for the grants program
Developing project deliverables, executing project plan activities, and reporting to program leadership
Engaging directly with client project team

You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely. You will work at the client site dependent on contract requirements.
Required Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of professional experience
1+ years of consulting experience in regulatory, risk, and compliance or related services and/or federal, state or local grants management
Strong resource development and consulting skills
Knowledge and experience with federal and/or state grants management
Experience supporting the execution and operations of grant programs, including post-award processes (e.g., monitoring, risk assessment, reporting, closeout)
Strong communications skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in all directions
Strong attention to detail in resource development; ability to maintain version control and track/integrate feedback from internal and client stakeholders
Risk management – ability to continuously update and track program and project milestones
Cross-functional integration – willingness to integrate across programs, and work streams (e.g., technical assistance, technology, policy, dashboarding)
Technical Writing
Presentation Development
US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Tools – experience with SharePoint, Salesforce, PowerBI a plus, but not required

Salary:
Approximate Salary Estimate: $68,000.00 - $76,000.00 annually
