Senior System Testing Analyst

for an opportunity in Columbia, SC. Candidates should be US Citizens.

Work arrangement:

Hybrid; onsite at least every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday but may be required to come onsite Monday/Friday based on business needs.W2 position; 12 monthsIt is preferred that candidates are eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance, which requires a thorough background search and US citizenship.Summary:

7 years of IT experience including experience developing test plans and/or test matrices.Job/class description:

Provide service for multiple clients. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities. Perform quality checks across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.Perform application testing analysis and lead activities that may include leading the development of test plans, cases, scenarios, and matrices, attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports and developing processes.Create test cases, execute testing, and document results. Define and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status. Lead process improvement initiatives related to testing methodologies and techniques. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve operational workflows.Provide service for multiple clients, which may include onsite service where needed. Facilitate and lead meetings with customers to understand and resolve technical issues. Mentor and provide guidance to testing staff.Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Strong analysis skills.Skill in testing data creation and manipulation.Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems.Skill in negotiation and/or influencing business or technical partners.Ability to write complex test cases/scripts.Excellent communication skills.Ability to document complex problems and assist in their resolution.Ability to understand functional connections between applications.Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc.Standard office equipment.Work environment:

This team of 12 people supports testing all the company's call center applications, IVR / VRU testing along with desktop applications supporting CTI (Computer telephony integration).The team also supports web testing covering our web portals like MHTK, MIM, and Employer portals along with the mobile app for the MHTK application.The team is testing with a hybrid testing model (both manual and automation testing).They also support the business areas with 24x7 production support or validation tasks.Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;OR, 4 years of job-related work experience (total 11 years without a degree)Interested?
