Job DescriptionThe Department:

Invesco’s Internal Consulting Organization is a team of practitioners who provide consulting expertise, underpinned with core program management capabilities, for the largest strategic efforts across Invesco.

Your Role:The Senior Principal Consultant will leverage their consulting background to help lead a wide variety of business and technology initiatives for both lines of business and functional units. Projects include revenue generation, expense reduction, business process automation, regulatory & compliance, risk management, and technology enabled solutions.

This role will partner with executives across Invesco to assess business needs and manage project teams in: client needs assessment, analysis, future state design, business case development, implementation planning, execution, business readiness, and deployment.

This is an excellent role for a passionate experienced consultant looking for a challenging role leading change in a high performance culture with one of the world’s leading asset managers.

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver large, complex programs and consulting engagements across Invesco, oftentimes leading a matrixed team of junior practitioners.

Lead Steering Committees and other high-profile forums, requiring polished presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Proactively engage with business leaders to identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions to lines of business and functions.

Provide top-tier consulting services in any of these key critical consulting capability areas:

IT (e.g. infrastructure, applications, IT operations, Digital)

Business Process Optimization and Automation

Change Management (communications, stakeholder management, business readiness, training etc.)

Mergers and Acquisition Integration

Business Case Development

“Go to market” strategies

Create best in class program deliverables and work with teams to build strong relationships to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Develop and maintain relationships with executives at Invesco to position the Internal Consulting Organization as top of mind partners for solutioning and opportunity management.

The Experience you bring:

Extensive experience in senior consulting/management experience in global or national management consulting firm leading engagements in Financial Services (preferably Asset Management).

Successfully managing multiple large-scale programs in a corporate setting (preferably with a robust mix of business and technology dimensions).

Managing a diverse project team, preferably global.

Asset Management industry experience preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree.

Master’s degree preferred.

Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills (including board ready presentation skills - MS PowerPoint).

Ability to position yourself as a leader in complex business situations.

Proven ability to drive change.

Ability to effectively translate technology for business leaders.

Team player, thrives in a collaborative work environment.

Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way.

Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
