We're looking for a dynamic Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our crew and help keep our department flying smoothly. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, youll be the in the cockpit responsible for a variety of HR functions that ensure our daily operations take off without a hitch. Your responsibilities will range from onboarding new talent and navigating employee relations, to charting course with HRIS, benefits, compliance, and performance management. You'll also help guide our team with training and development, maintain accurate records, and provide insights through key HR metrics. If youre ready to help us reach new heights, this role is your runway to success Compensation: Maximum Based on experience Minimum - $68,878.49 What Youll Do: Manages employee Leaves of Absence programs to include FMLA and Military leave. Assists in the interactive process for ADA accommodations under the direction of the Director of Human Resources. Meets with employees and supervisors to address and counsel performance issues, job related conflicts, problem solving, and dispute resolution. Conducts personnel investigations, under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, and delivery of disciplinary actions for employees. Manages and conducts new employee orientation, benefits enrollment and other specialized training as needed for new employees. Conducts compliance and regulatory reporting to government agencies in accordance with applicable deadlines. Administers the performance review process through the HRIS. Provides training and assistance to managers on goal creation and the quarterly feedback process. Interprets, administers, and provides guidance on Authority benefits plans, policies, procedures, and best practices, employment law and regulations to management and employees. What You Need: Education: Required: Bachelors degree in human resources, public administration, or related field Experience: Required: 5 years experience in Human Resources or another related field Preferred: 7 years experience in Human Resources or another related field Licenses or Certifications: Required: Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SHRM-CP) or other comparable certification Preferred: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR or SHRM-SCP) or other comparable certification Typical Work Hours: Monday - Friday Some flexibility is available regarding the work schedule between the hours of 6am - 6pm, possible 4x10 schedule, possible work-from-home Fridays. Work hours outside of traditional schedule may be required occasionally. Final schedule preference will be negotiated with manager during the hiring process.
