Job Summary: The HR Manager will lead and manage human resources functions within the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering a positive workplace culture. This position involves strategic planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with federal and local labor laws. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing a diverse and inclusive workforce. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: - Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. - Manage the full lifecycle of recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. - Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning. Employee Relations: - Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances. - Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction. - Mediate and resolve conflicts, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to company policies. Performance Management: - Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers on effective evaluation techniques. - Implement and promote professional development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. - Identify and address performance issues through coaching and support. Compliance and Policy Development: - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. - Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals. - Conduct regular audits and assessments of HR practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Training and Development: - Design and facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and support organizational goals. - Promote a culture of continuous learning and development through workshops, seminars, and other initiatives. - Identify training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance reviews. Compensation and Benefits: - Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance. - Conduct market research to benchmark salaries and benefits packages. - Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with enrollment processes. Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred. Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a similar industry. - Proven track record of managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. Skills: - Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. - Proficient in HRIS and MS Office Suite; Personal Attributes: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
