We’re in this together to support the world’s transition to solar.About the TeamThe accounting team is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards. The accounting team consists of the corporate accounting team, technical accounting and financial reporting, revenue accounting, and accounts receivable teams. The team operates collaboratively, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in financial processes. This role is an individual contributor role under the corporate accounting team.About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Manager who is passionate about the end-to-end ownership of payroll processes, tax, compliance, and accounting and is excited about being a member of the accounting team at an organization making a meaningful difference in the world. The ideal candidate will have a prior history of owning all aspects of the payroll processes, including payroll accounting and compliance, in a dynamic fast-growth environment. The candidate should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, partner well cross-functionally, and have a flexible, can-do approach.Your ImpactFull ownership of payroll processes and payroll accountingEnsure regulatory compliance with all federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations and tax filing requirementsFull ownership of the payroll accounting for all payroll and payroll-related accountsAccurate payroll processing of employee pay, deductions, taxes, and one-time payments (bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, etc)Serve as a main point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, issues, and new initiativesWhat You Bring7+ years of payroll management experienceProficient with multistate and global payroll processesStrong understanding of payroll accounting, including journal entries and reconciliationsProficiency with Workday and ADPExperience maintaining regulatory compliance, process documentation, and payroll policiesExcellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across functions and levels throughout the companyStrong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with a big-picture strategic understandingAbility to manage ambiguity, and multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgencyHands-on, “Roll-up the sleeves” approach to accomplishing all necessary tasksExperience in handling confidential business matters and information with discretionNice to HavesWorking knowledge of NetSuiteAssisting in various financial auditsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldCPP or other payroll professional certifications designation preferred, but not requiredCPA designation preferred, but not requiredWhat We Offer
