The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,403 to $170,000.

you will:Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to attract and hire high-potential candidates, utilizing innovative sourcing techniques and leveraging both traditional and digital platforms.Speed the time to fill, by leveraging collaborations with educational, non-profit and governmental partners, and increasing connection to and accessibility of a diverse community.Oversee a comprehensive review and update to the County’s classification and pay practices, assuring that the County retains a positive position in terms of competitiveness to attract and retain employees.To be a successful
Division Chief, Talent Acquisition & Management Manager,
you must:Have proven leadership experience delivering a comprehensive program spanning full scope talent acquisition and management, including recruitment, selection, classification and compensation.Have broad experience leading performance improvements in talent acquisition, leveraging diverse sourcing channels and employing innovative recruitment techniques.Have strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.Have knowledge of collective bargaining and labor relations practices.Extensive knowledge of current trends and best practices in employment, recruitment, classification, and compensation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Proven ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver results under pressure.Additional Information:As a manager/supervisor working in a union environment, this position has a responsibility for fostering a positive labor relations environment based on mutual trust, respect, and cooperation.This position requires the ability to attend meetings or perform work at locations outside the office.This position MAY require work during non-traditional hours to include early mornings, evenings/nights, weekends.To ensure a positive workplace and to comply with federal, state and County laws, the incumbent is responsible for completing mandatory trainings within the first three to six months or within the specified timeframe.Education:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.Experience:
7+ years of progressive human resources experience, with a focus on Talent Acquisition, Classification, and Compensation Management. Including 3+ years of supervisory or executive experience leading teams in these areas.Equivalency:
An equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted.Preference for interviews will be given to applicants with experience in the following:Experience applying comprehensive technical knowledge, within an HR operational environment, of all HR functions to determine if the products, services, and programs of a large HR organization are in full compliance with applicable policy, regulations, and statutes while also maximizing process efficiency and program effectiveness.Working knowledge of labor and employment laws and legislation [such as: EEO, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, Pay Equity Act, Racial Equity and Social Justice Act, Ban the Box, Personnel Regulations, Collective Bargaining Agreements, etc.].Experience providing executive level support to a director or senior official.Experience working tactfully, and effectively with union representatives, employees, supervisors and managers, community leaders.Experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring recruitment, compensation, classification, and technical staff members.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including presenting complex information to high level officials and the public.
