Scope of the Role

The Network & System Administrator is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and improving the company's computer network and systems, including hardware, software and applications. Additionally, this position will maintain and administer the computer network and systems. Reporting Structure The Network & System Administrator is a member of the IT Team and reports to the Infrastructure Manager. This position also partners with cross-functional team members across the organization.

Essential Functions & Key ResponsibilitiesManages the day-to-day operations of all business-critical systems within the Corporate Headquarters and Fulfillment Center networks, including but not limited to, monitoring system performance, maintenance, configuration and repair.Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical hardware and software resources.Applies firmware updates for network infrastructure.Ensures that hardware and software asset inventories are maintained.Creates and maintains automation for the onboarding and offboarding of employeesTrains team members on existing and new network hardware and software technologies to ensure adherence with disaster recovery and business continuity best practices.Perform troubleshooting at all support tiers as needed.Establishes and maintains computer baselines for automated and efficient deployment of computer assets.Plans, implements, maintains and improves guidelines for network and computing hardware and software.Plans, implements, maintains and improves network, hardware and software security infrastructures to protect company assets.Stays up to date with network and system administration technologies and recommends ways for the company to take advantage of modern technologies.Meets on a regular basis to provide status updates for active tasks and projects.Works with IT Infrastructure vendors as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar study required.Minimum 3-5 years of progressive "hands on" systems maintenance and administration experience required.Experience in cloud-based network infrastructure implementation, maintenance and administration.Strong understanding of networking concepts including switching, routing, security, and load-balancing, including SSL VPN, P2P and various routing protocols.Advanced skills in Microsoft technologies such as Azure Entra ID, Exchange, M365,Teams, SharePoint, NetSuite, WMS, DHCP, DNS, hardware and software license management.Experience with IT security to include anti-virus, e-mail security, IDS/IPS systems, etc.In-depth knowledge and broad experience in virtualization technologies which include design, implementation, and administration.Proficient in maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity models and incident response plans.Experience working on large enterprise projects.Proven ability to deliver quality projects within tight deadlines.Ability to identify complex problems and develop, implement, maintain and improve solutions.Ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.Meticulous and organized with the ability to work in a challenging environment, both independently.Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite.Benefits & Perks
