Toray Advanced Composites (TAC) is a leading supplier of advanced composite materials for the aerospace, sporting goods, motor sport and industrial markets. You will find our thermoset composite products on nearly every satellite, space launch vehicle, unmanned aircraft, military and commercial aircraft in production today. TAC also provides composites materials to industrial and recreational applications including mountain bikes, medical prosthetics and sports equipment.

Our thermoplastic prepregs, known in the industry as Cetex®, are found in a wide range of commercial and military aircraft, including large wing structures and interior applications like seats and galleys. Our Cetex products are available in unidirectional tape or fabric form in a variety of engineered thermoplastic resins including PEEK, PPS, PEI as well as a full line of performance thermoplastics including Nylon, PET, PC/ABS, HDPE, and PP.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

The HR Generalist III is a strategic partner to the overall business, leaders, and employees. The HR Generalist III will build partnerships with leadership and employees by managing all aspects of Human Resources which includes but isn't limited to training and development, employee relations, benefits, policy creation and maintenance, retention and employee morale. This role is responsible for creating policies while understand the businesses, leadership, and employee needs. This role will ensure compliance of federal and state law. The HR Generalist III should be a mentor to those in the HR department. This role requires a high level of confidentiality.

MAJOR DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Partner with the leadership and employees by creating, driving and implanting HR strategies including development, engagement and performance managementPoint of contact for employee relations for both leadership and employeesDevelop and lead learning and development initiatives for the companyEnsure people leaders are trained on dealing with difficult employee relations while guaranteeing fairness of the processCreate, educate and provide resources for questions regarding employment, benefits, leaves of absence, training and developmentEvaluate, recommend and implement strategies on programs that can improve employee engagement, development and retentionPartner effectively with other departments and key stakeholders on a day to day basis as well as on projects with the ability to gain buy in to implement changesMaintain and partner with leaders on the annual compensation planning process by reviewing pay structures and qualifications of talentEnsure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirementsPartner and support the EHS team on the workers compensation program and actively support the company safety program and initiativesEXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience, Masters preferredMinimum 6 years of experience in Human ResourcesExperience in leadership is preferredManufacturing or composites industry experience preferredProficiency with HRIS - ADP software is preferredAbility to develop and lead training and development programsComprehensive understanding of HR compliance, state and federal employment labor laws and immigrationDemonstrated ability in managing difficult and/or complex employee relations issuesExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters effectivelyAbility to influence without authority and develop positive professional relationships at all levels of the organizationAbility to use a high level of tact, diplomacy, discretion and empathy/understandingAbility to drive change management initiativesStrong strategic thinking and analytical skillsSelf-motivated and have a sense of urgencyMust be able to communicate (written and verbally) in EnglishProficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT)Maintain work areas in a neat, orderly and safe mannerFollow safety procedures for PPE (personal protection equipment)Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.

Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000
