Talascend is seeking well-qualified candidates for a
Sr. Manager Risk Management and Fraud eCommerce
for our client's digital marketing division. This is a long-term contract role, working out of the office in Ridgefield Park, NJ.
Candidates must be locally based or willing to relocate at their own expense.
OVERVIEW:
This role oversees the risk management function for eCommerce platforms, including fraud detection, strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration. The position involves leadership, data analysis, and process optimization to improve risk management outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage risk analysts across locations, setting strategy and vision for the risk management organization.Assess and enhance risk monitoring rules to improve fraud detection and reduce false positives.Evaluate platform risk factors and develop mitigation strategies through data analysis and modeling.Collaborate with operations, product, engineering, and vendor teams to implement risk management programs.Conduct weekly risk assessment meetings to identify improvement opportunities.Analyze fraud trends to identify systemic and process improvement opportunities.Develop risk mitigation strategies for various eCommerce channels.Lead goal setting and performance management for the risk team.Work independently and with teams to enhance customer experiences.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or Master's in Analytics, Statistics, or a similar field preferred.5+ years of experience in fraud and risk assessment for eCommerce or consumer financial services.2+ years managing global teams and working in an eCommerce or digital marketing environment.Proficiency in creating process flows, procedural documentation, and KPI-focused business reporting.Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.Strong problem-solving, communication, and data presentation skills.Must live locally, work on-site M-R, option to WFH on Fridays.
