We are hiring a
Aftermarket Performance Sales Manager
who will be based in our Torrance, California facility. The Aftermarket Performance Sales Manager is a key position and part of the North American sales team. This role is a commercial leadership function that will drive a network of 30+ performance distributors and Kit makers within the region to meet revenues and material margin target. The position will suit a highly structured and organized sales manager capable of supporting the strategic planning, omni-channel strategy, sell-in actions, sell out activities including events. The Aftermarket Performance Sales Manager will lead functionally 2 persons in North America and 5 persons in other geographic zones (EMEA, Australia, China, South America and SEA) to deliver Performance AOP target.
Regions for primary focus include: North America, Australia and EMEA. This is a busy and varied role with the opportunity to make a real impact, by working closely with North American sales director and key stakeholders globally within the organization, and also with a diverse network of external partners.
Responsibilities Include:Sales
Responsible for ensuring the sales target, material margin and mix targets are achieved by collaborating with sales managers to work closely with performance distributors and Kit makers in North America in developing their sales strategy and promotions.Hunt for new business opportunities by appointing new performance distributors, small OE, Kit makers or developing new countries.Provide market information to the NA Sales Director, Product manager, Marcom team, Demand Planning and Forecast Department.
Account Management
Agree annual customer targets, development programs and all other customer commercial interfaces.Liaise with the Customer Support Teams to manage the delivery of parts to customers.Ensure AOP, A/C receivables, Sales Forecast and Gross Margin targets are met.Coordinate and drive performance sales results with other sales leader in the region mainly EMEA and Australia.
Marketing
Support the Marketing team to build right campaign to promote sales and brand equity to all performance customer's segment.Provide Support at Garrett and distributor events fairs / events, which may overlap weekends from time to time.Omnichannel approach both physical and digital (performance marketplace as a prime development channel).
Management
Lead functionally sales initiatives and performance business development in all regions (NA, EMEA, Australia, China, SEA, South America).
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in a business or commercial disciplineMinimum of 10 years traction within commercial leadership roles bringing:
Strong track record in development of indirect sales to a channel of dealers and distributors.Omni-Channel experience preferred within automotive, aftermarket.Ideally coming from automotive aftermarket industry.Highly international environments (multicultural).Complex matrix organizations.
Accomplishments include:
Developed and implemented Distributor/Dealer Development strategy and action plan for multiple regions.Led the dealer network expansion plan through active field prospecting, preparation of value proposition and market potential analysis.Developed network performances and improved dealer quality through tailored training programs, marketing and merchandising initiatives, or other actions to drive growth.

Pay Range
The salary range for this role is between $113,900 and $145,000.
