Your Opportunity For Impact
NetDocuments is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to manage and implement business knowledge and technical skills, deploying and managing production systems, and supporting environments with emphasis on engineering backend and PaaS-focused products and services. This team is working on a variety of AI powered solutions for our clients across backend services and client facing UI. You will help the team develop new microservices and architect new efficient and scalable cloud-based systems. You will report to the Manager of the Engineering team.
What Your Contributions Will BeDevelop new applications and services using a combination of C#, React, microservices technology, Azure & AWS PaaS offerings, and other technologies as appropriateDocuments architectural designs through diagrams and logical flowsBuild and test new designs, formulations, materials, or systems for compliance with quality and/or performance standardsInterprets functional/non-functional requirements and implements reliable software solutionsTest new applications and services in a variety of environmentsMaintains and modifies existing applications without supervisionEstimates and plans out work through user stories and tasksGauge platform performance and take corrective action to optimize system behaviorDetermine operational feasibility by providing analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutionsPrepare and install solutions by determining, designing, and implementing system specifications, standards, and programming guidelinesImprove operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and proceduresParticipate in team exercises for collaborationGuide and mentor team development efforts towards successful project deliveryUpdate job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipmentProtect operations by keeping information confidentialProvide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issuesAccomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as neededSupport and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunitiesGrow engineering teams by participating in interviewing, recruiting, and hiringStay on the leading edge of development practicesPassion about great technologies, especially open sourceUnderstand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage themThis position will consist of 90% in the code and 10% mentoring other engineersOther duties as assignedWhat You Bring to the Team
