Role: Deskside Support Specialist Location: Nashville, Tennessee (Onsite) Job Type: Fulltime Job Purpose The Deskside Support Specialist provides a single point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC and Laptop hardware/equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. Troubleshoots problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion and provides end-user assistance where required. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Basic troubleshooting of software & hardware Deploy & retire hardware Carry out assigned project tasks Utilize asset report data to remediate reporting issues Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Mac OS and iOS Verbal Communication Microsoft Office Suite Written Communication Laptop, Desktop and Printer Hardware Ability to document time spent Microsoft Windows 7 and up Follow written procedure Basic DOS commands Follow verbal instruction Ability to lift 50lbs Basic understanding of virtual environments Work both independently and part of a team Customer Oriented Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
