The HVAC Service Manager leads staff members who repair and maintain residential homes and commercial building heating and air conditioning systems. This manager routinely works directly with Field Supervisors, Service Technicians, CSR/Dispatch personnel, and other managers to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting departmental goals and objectives. Presenting themself as a senior company representative, the Service Manager often communicates directly with customers, vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate communication of job or project status and requirements.

Optimize service operations, ensuring profitability and growth.Train and develop service technicians to unleash their full potential and become true HVAC superheroes.Collaborate with the Office Manager to streamline service scheduling and dispatch the right technicians to save the day.Meticulously review invoices with your eagle eyes, ensuring accuracy and spotting any anomalies.Oversee payroll with precision and keep a watchful eye on technician profitability.Efficiently handle warranty and call back invoices, swiftly resolving any issues that arise.Use your genius to set service inventory policies and ensure our inventory is always stocked to handle any challenge.Generate revenue by securing work and building strong customer relationships through exceptional service.Provide field support to our technicians, jumping in like a superhero when they need an extra hand.Ensure our service vehicles are clean, fully stocked, and always ready for action, just like a superhero's trusty vehicle.Drive sales of maintenance contracts, offering customers the opportunity to be the heroes of their own HVAC story.Maintain an up-to-date and organized price book, ensuring our pricing is clear, transparent, and competitive.Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for our technicians, empowering them with the skills they need to shine.Implement effective processes and procedures to streamline our operations and ensure efficiency.Foster an unstoppable team through your inspiring leadership, creating a work environment where everyone can thrive.Requirements

Excellent customer service and sales skills10 + years experience in HVAC with at least 5 years in a management roleExhibit an in-depth knowledge and understanding off HVAC and refrigeration systemsTechnical aptitude with knowledge of local codes and an ability to use resources at hand to find solutionsExcellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity and standards of work producedExcellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skillsDetail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignmentsGood computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and general software navigationPossess a strong personal desire for improvement; and the desire to motivate HVAC technicians to be better tomorrow than they are todayHave a clean, neat, professional appearance; a top performer who can instill pride in workmanship in themselves and othersValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility and willingness to work non-standard schedule; nights, weekend, and holidays as/if required
