This is a full-time, direct placement for Creative Comfort, Inc.

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and oversee our HVAC service department, handling both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC operations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position involves managing a team of skilled technicians, ensuring quality service and repairs, and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Train and manage HVAC technicians and support staff to ensure high performance and adherence to industry standards.Project Management:

Oversee and coordinate HVAC service projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.Quality Control:

Monitor and enforce quality control standards on service, maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Customer Service:

Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and escalations, ensuring satisfaction through effective communication and resolution of issues.Technical Support:

Provide technical guidance to technicians on complex issues and troubleshooting, ensuring quick and efficient problem-solving.Scheduling and Dispatch:

Manage technician schedules to optimize productivity, minimizing downtime while ensuring coverage for all service calls.Inventory and Equipment Management:

Monitor inventory levels, order parts and equipment as needed.Budgeting and Reporting:

Develop and maintain department budgets, track expenses, and report on key performance metrics related to team efficiency and customer satisfaction.Safety Compliance:

Promote and enforce safety standards, and ensure all technicians follow company and industry guidelines.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in the field for HVAC service and installation, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role preferred.Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation practices, and repair techniques for residential and commercial projects.Skills:

Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills; strong problem-solving abilities.Computer Skills:

Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM and inventory management systems a plus.Customer-Focused:

Ability to build strong relationships with customers and handle service issues with professionalism and empathy.

Salary Description

$30 - $35/hr
