In this critical role, you will lead analytical efforts to manage risk appetite for retail credit, with a strong emphasis on capital and strategic planning. Responsibilities include stress loss forecasting aligned with regulatory guidelines, analyzing the drivers of stress losses, and supporting the establishment of risk appetite limits. You will work closely with finance and business partners to evaluate forecasts and their impact on capital-based stress losses and risk-weighted assets. Your aim will be to build robust capabilities for managing risk appetite limits while leading transformative analytics projects. We require candidates to have at least 6 years of experience in financial services or management consulting, a solid understanding of risk appetite frameworks, and credit risk policy. A thorough grasp of consumer banking product P&Ls, key risk-return dynamics, and loss triggers is essential. You'll need competency in capital and balance sheet management and familiarity with analytical and data management tools. Ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, and effectively balance risk/reward trade-offs. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to drive change, engage with senior executives, and foster interpersonal relationships, are crucial.
