Position SummaryThe Senior Analyst System Operations Data Analytics & Reporting reviews real-time metrics, goals, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities within the performance of the operation, in support of the conduct of System Operations Center (SOC) operations, business and continuous improvement. The Senior Analyst reports to the Director System Operations Strategy & Continuous Improvement, providing ancillary analytical support to the Customer Experience teams, Flight Ops, and Tech Ops.Essential ResponsibilitiesAnalyze daily operating metrics and statistics to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.Drive a weekly operational review meeting for SOC Leadership.Review cross-departmental data to highlight inefficiencies across teams.Create, manage, and distribute dashboards and reports to the various operating teams as required, including presenting findings to Senior Leadership.Utilize statistical/mathematical modeling to quantitatively evaluate the impact of applicable policy and procedure options/changes.Conduct analyses and provide recommendations to enhance system performance for various functional groups.Leverage industry data and statistics to develop comparative reports and presentations as necessary.Ensure that during Irregular Operations, Leaders are provided real-time qualitative and quantitative data as required.Support Incident/Emergency activation briefings to provide real-time analysis to Senior Leadership and team participants.Develop and maintain a regular debrief cadence following Irregular Operations and Incident/Emergency activations.Prepare and provide necessary information for weekly operations reports to Senior Management Team.Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis or a related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experienceThree (3) years of data or operational analysis in the aviation industryProficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Access, Excel, and PowerPointStrong quantitative and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be a self-starter who is eager to participate and contribute to JetBlue teamsProficient with MS SQL Server Management Studio and knowledge of basic coding structureAvailable for overnight travel (10%)Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Preferred Experience and QualificationsExperience in Airline IndustryProficient with Tableau visual analytics software and Snowflake cloud data platformFamiliarity with airline System/Network Operations Centers and applicable processes and software applicationsCompletion of a work sample during the hiring process

Compensation:The base pay range for this position is between $64,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
