Position SummaryThe Senior Analyst, Crew Pairing Optimization is the subject matter expert for the Jeppesen Crew Pairing. The Senior Analyst will assist Crew Planning and Crew Staffing analysts in cross-departmental collaboration in obtaining the efficiency and efficacy of the Calibration Tool to create crew pairings that are robust and resilient to operational disruption. The Senior Analyst will perform data analysis, data quality assurance and ad hoc projects that enables system robustness and achievable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Essential ResponsibilitiesIdentify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and focusing on quality improvement; and ensuring data is reliable and validCollaborate with business partners and internal stakeholders to help achieve business strategies via the crew pairing optimization processDevelop and manage metrics and reporting that drives crew pairing optimization efficiencyMeet with stakeholders regularly to review deliverables and deadlinesSupport system upgrades and lead recommendation for enhancementsAnalyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mindOther duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering or an equivalent field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experienceThree (3) years of analytical or related experienceProficient in high-level programming language of PythonStrong capabilities with Microsoft PowerPoint and ExcelExcellent verbal and written communicationExcellent data analysis and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAvailable for occasional overnight travel (10%)Must pass a pre-employment drug testMust be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is locatedAuthorization to work in the US is required. Preferred Experience and QualificationsMaster's degree in Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, Computer Science, Statistics or BusinessThree (3) years of airline/airline operations experienceStrong capabilities working with Tableau, SQL, and Snowflake
Crewmember Expectations:Regular attendance and punctualityPotential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-noticeAble to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:The base pay range for this position is between $64,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
