Summary/Description:

The Risk Management Subject Matter Expert will provide expertise, capability, support, and guidance within risk management for programs and initiatives. Specific duties will include but not be limited to:

Develop and implement a proactive risk management strategy addressing the unique aspects of each program and initiative.

Conduct initial risk assessments in consideration of cost, schedule, and performance for each program and project.

Continually monitor risks and update the program and project risk assessments as necessary by events, but no less than monthly.

Provide risk assessment and mitigation strategies and plans in support of programs and contractual efforts.

Ensure project compliance with the RMP to include maintaining the Risk Register.

Required Education and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, management or related discipline

Must have minimum of 8 years' experience in the risk management field.

Experience must include risk planning, development/refinement, initiation, and execution for new requirements, projects, procedures, and/or guidelines.
