Grace Health is looking for an experienced individual to perform first line support for PC's, tablets, notebooks, printers, scanners, other miscellaneous computer components and associated software escalating problems to appropriate staff when necessary. This individual will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills required to perform support duties and utilize resources to resolve issues quickly and with minimal supervision.

Description of Primary Responsibilities and Duties1)Responsible for addressing computer, application and printer issues.a)Analyze problems quickly and provide solutions and additional recommendations to users.b)Maintain end-to-end documentation for all issues that are addressed.c)Maintain working condition of computers and miscellaneous hardware for the network.d)Assist users in resolving office software issues.e)Assist users in resolving phone software, hardware, and connectivity issues.

2)Responsible for maintaining hardware.a)Set up and configure computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and peripheral devices.b)Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on end user computers and serviceable hardware to ensure optimal performance.c)Replace or repair faulty computer components when possible.d)Develop and maintain process for managing computer and peripheral hardware inventory.

3)Act as the IT computer liaison with staff.a)Communicate clearly and frequently with staff.b)Provide basic computer training for staff.c)Assist with orientation training.d)Escalate concerns and/or suggestions that staff have to the appropriate teams.e)Prepare any meeting room equipment as needed for meetings.f)Provide administrative support.g)Research and provide assistance to staff regarding solutions for improving workflow efficiencies.

4)Undertake special projects as assigned.a)Execute and follow best practices through the entire life cycle of projects.b)Maintain professional acumen through educational workshops and professional publications.Professional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

1)Possesses work-related skills at a higher level than completion of high school, including formal written and verbal communications skills, computational and computer skills, mathematical, technical or health care related knowledge frequently acquired through completion of a trade school or certificate type program.2)Possesses specific knowledge and training in computer support, typically acquired during completion of a program in business administration, data processing, or information technology with a duration of up to a year.3)Is expected to learn and maintain higher level skills of the trade/profession, in addition to the basic training of the trade/profession.
