Job Description Summary

Job Summary:Perform the transport, loading and off-loading of materials and other warehouse duties in a timely and safe manner in order to fulfill the needs of production and our customers.

Position Responsibilities:

Follow outlined duties as assigned in daily inbound / outbound schedule from warehouse management.Maintain the principles of first in / first out (FIFO) in the storage and retrieval of materials.Coordinate with other lift truck drivers and production personnel to ensure the efficient performance of warehouse and production processes.Prioritize multiple tasks to maximize work efficiency.Sanitation duties as required in order to maintain a clean and safe environment.Accomplish other related work as required.Comply with all safety regulations.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.Reports all accidents/injuries and unsafe conditions to location management.Maintains any logs as required.CBB forklift qualified.Attention to detail.Exhibits ability to consistently and accurately process verbal and/or written instructions and procedures.Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Personal hygiene must meet company and government sanitation requirements. Abide by safety rules as outlined in "Employee Handbook".

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent; or up to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must demonstrate basic mathematical skills. Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially food production, is helpful. Must be qualified as a driver at Columbia Basin Blends. Ability to use a slip-sheeter is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as formulas, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate clearly in English commensurate with the requirements of this position.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must have a basic mechanical aptitude. Must be able to use safely use hand held knife. A fully trained lift-truck operator will have worked all aspects of the job, including the loading and off-loading of trucks, receiving inbound ingredients, production driving and packaging driving.

The employee is occasionally required to climb on ladders or other supporting structures off of ground level. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 50-60 pounds.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's work location, job duties, experience and expertise. A reasonable hourly estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $23.03
