What Youll Do: Load and Unload with Precision: Safely load and unload our premium window and door products for multi-state deliveries, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition. Conduct Quality Control: Inspect shipments at job sites to verify product quality and accuracy, ensuring that every delivery meets our high standards. Utilize Technology for Efficiency: Use inventory scanners for reconciling and managing outbound shipments, helping maintain seamless logistical operations. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Interact directly with customers, delivering not only products but also a commitment to excellence and satisfaction. Perform Vehicle Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of your assigned vehicle, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and the highest standards of safety. Handle COD Transactions: Collect cash on delivery (COD) when necessary, managing transactions with professionalism and accuracy. Adapt to Additional Duties: Embrace flexibility by taking on other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment.
What Were Looking For: Relevant Qualifications: A Class B drivers license with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record are essential for this role. A high school diploma is required, with one to three years of experience preferred. Strong Communication Skills: You should have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, fostering positive interactions with customers and team members alike. Basic Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic calculations is necessary for managing deliveries and COD transactions. Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: You should be able to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction. Physical Capability: You must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including frequent heavy lifting and the ability to navigate diverse environments.
Physical Demands: In this role, you will be regularly required to stand, walk, lift, and move products. The ability to climb, balance, and perform various physical tasks is essential. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment: You will often work in a dynamic environment, exposed to outdoor weather conditions and moving mechanical parts. The noise level can range from moderate to loud, and we make reasonable accommodations to ensure a supportive work environment for all.
