IntroWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer - Senior to join our team. This is a remote 12-month contract position with potential opportunities for extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a matrixed or corporate environment.
DetailsThe successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting written requirements and technical specifications to develop software solutions for business problems. They will analyze and investigate software issues reported by clients and document their findings. The role involves performing maintenance, correcting defects, running unit tests, implementing test plans, and suggesting solutions to detected defects. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Mandatory Skills- 6-10 years of experience in a comparable position- 2+ years of experience with Snowflake, Tableau, and SQL Server- Proficiency in Python- Experience building backend services using C#- Experience developing enterprise-class applications using .NET and C#- Familiarity with Cloud Foundry- Expertise in writing unit/integration tests and knowledge of the Veracode process- Strong ability to design, code, and debug applications in various software languages- Experience in informatica development and handling multiple vendors' data- Expertise in reporting software like Tableau
Desired Skills- Full stack development expertise, including HTML5, Angular/Backbone, JavaScript, JSON, XML- Experience or knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery- Experience designing and implementing scalable REST API services- Strong teamwork and communication skills
