The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily Functions of the human resource departing including hiring, interviewing, staff, payroll, benefits, leave, and enforcing company polices procedures, etc.In performing the duties and responsibilities of this Husman Resource Generalist position will demonstrate adherence to NHH’s core values through:Acknowledging the dignity of the whole personMeeting people where they areFocusing on family stability and wellnessSupporting clients’ wellbeing
Essential Responsibilities:Some of the essential responsibilities of the Human Resource Generalist include, but are not limited to:Use ADP workforce software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including, leaves, and conduct absences administration.Organize hard and soft copies of employee records.Process documentation and prepare reports relating to performance evaluations.Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees’ experienceSupport employees with efficient problem-solving when any human resources issues ariseCommunicate with public services when neededReinforce the company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure employees’ safetyOversee employee labor and HR federal laws and regulations to assure complianceReview and select resumes during hiring processes and update databaseAssist in the coordination of staffing and recruitment processesPlan onboarding strategies and perform new employees orientation to deliver an exceptional early experienceRecommend and develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationsMaintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions according to HR objectivesConduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on dataEnsure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements and conducting investigationsArrange seminars, workshops, additional HR training, and conferences based on each department’s needs
Minimum Requirement:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness .
Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies .
Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary .
Ability to demonstrate a commitment to the specific agency mission values and philosophy.
