Location: 2235 E. 55th St. Cleveland, OH 44103Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

VGS is a highly acclaimed, successful, private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) vocational rehabilitation agency with over 130 years of dedicated experience serving persons with disabilities or other barriers to employment. The Associate Director of Community Inclusion is an exciting new role that will be responsible for the following duties:

Responsible for oversight of community programming including existing CBWA, placement, summer youth, and group employment programs as well as the expansion and creation of new services without walls that will include both activity and employment focused programming. Responsible for significant business development opportunities throughout Northeast Ohio but primarily Cuyahoga County. Ensures all areas are performed in the highest quality and most efficient manner consistent with budget and outcome reporting.

Create the transition plan for community-based vocational habilitation and day services for Customized Community Engagement & Employment services. This will include developing an implementation plan to include service structure, participant recruitment, staff coordination, and developing business relationships for both activity and employment resources as well as volunteer opportunities.Anticipate potential challenges of the transition plan, develop and implement solutions including creating a safety plan for community inclusion.Responsible for visualizing and implementing technology needs to make the transition plan successful.Work with all stakeholders to communicate the transition plan.Developing community resources based on geographic location and client interest.Attend community events and transition fairs to promote agency services and recruit individuals for Customized Community Engagement & Employment.Research new recruitment opportunities and outreach to bring in new participants to services.Formulate policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, business systems, or changes in programs, procedures, or services.Conduct needs analysis studies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs.Researches and selects outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specific topics to meet the need of annual training, professional development, staff enlightenment, health and safety.Support the Placement Department in business development needs and supervision and assist with Summer Youth coordination as needed.Support the Group Employment external sites and assist with the continued expansion.Ensure all departments are meeting budgetary goals.Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or related field (e.g Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Special Education, Communication Disorders, Human Services).Three to five years experience in sales or community relations required to promote programs and services to area employers.Experience with vocational rehabilitation services including OOD or DODD requirements and billing structure preferred.
