Software Tester

Job Summary:Our West Michigan client has a contract opportunity for a Software Tester/QA person. This role will help with automated and manual testing. Ideal candidates will have experience working with Azure and Cosmos, and experience with a test tracking software package is desired. This role can be 100% remote.

Responsibilities:Develops test plans and test cases.Develops automated tests.Performs manual and automated tests for software functionality, installation, and usability.Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.Manages bugs and error tracking.Documents and presents test results to management.Coordinates and prioritizes testing of application modifications and bug fixes.Works with multiple development teams and software projects.
