Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a boutique law firm in Irvine specializing in construction law is seeking a skilled Litigation Secretary to join the team. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting a busy litigation practice.Responsibilities:Manage case files from inception through resolution, ensuring accuracy and organization of all documents.Handle court filings and service in California state, federal, and appellate courts, with a strong understanding of e-filing procedures.Track deadlines, ensuring attorneys meet all court and client-imposed timelines.Coordinate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel on case matters.Prepare and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery, and correspondence.Schedule and arrange depositions, hearings, and mediations, and assist with trial preparation.Maintain attorney calendars, track case deadlines, and handle scheduling.Conduct basic case research as required.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Litigation Secretary in a law firm, with construction law experience preferred.Strong knowledge of California court rules and filing procedures.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.Professional communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
