We're seeking an IT Manager to join our team and lead the efficient operation of our technology infrastructure, including the Infor XA ERP system, desktop systems, data center, network, and phone systems. Reports To: Executive Vice President
Position Summary:
The IT Manager is responsible for building, maintaining, patching, monitoring, and repairing the company infrastructure (hardware and software). They will develop and maintain documentation on infrastructure, software, systems, and disaster recovery methodology while adhering to all safety, security, and compliance aspects. The IT Manager will oversee implementing and leading continuous integration, automated system testing, and configuring system capabilities to collaborate with various internal teams, remote resources, and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops strategies, objectives, and service level agreements for IT
services within the organization and through collaboration with
other leadership personnel to measure and improve organizational
efficiency and performance.
- Interprets and translates complex IT concepts and specialized
information related to technology for individuals of all levels of
understanding including non-IT roles, business partners,
leadership, and colleagues.
- Successfully anticipates organizational technology needs (hardware,
software and third-party systems) and create strategic solutions.
- Ability to supervise work provided by third party
contractors/temporary or project resources.
- Responsible for the management of the IT department, staff,
resources, budget and operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prioritize daily activities of the IT department staff to meet
internal customer and organization needs.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field is required.Budgeting Experience.IT contracts management.At least 7+ years of experience in a wide variety of IT functions (e.g. network/infrastructure administration, software evaluation and implementation, multi-level support, infrastructure evaluation and design, supplier evaluation and selection), preferably in a manufacturing environment.Experience with IBM (i-series; AS/400), preferably with programming and system administration experienceInfor XA.Windows environment experience, including VMWARE-based servers.MES systems.EDI Support.Cyber Security.Phone Systems.Experience with direct management of a team in an IT environment.Demonstrated successfully managed full life cycle IT administration directly or through a team.
