Senior Financial Analyst
Responsibilities
Develop, install, and maintain risk-based reporting structures for lending areas.
Prepare and analyze month-end closings and financial reports.
Input Asset Liability data to ALM model and produce reports for the monthly ALCO committee meeting.
Administer Third-Party Vendor Management and Current Expected Credit Losses software.
Act as a staff liaison to state and federal examiners and outside CPA firm auditors.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
Perform complex financial analysis and provide reports to Senior Management and the Board.
Essential Skills
B.S. degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent.
Minimum of five years of progressive accounting data analytics and ALM experience in a financial institution, preferably a credit union.
Extensive knowledge of financial and data analysis and PC programs.
Ability to lead and cooperate with others, inspire confidence, and work effectively with a management team.
Organized and efficient.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with asset liability management, ALM, asset-liability committee, accounting, general ledger, journal entry, month-end close, and account reconciliation.
Proficiency in Excel pivot tables and vendor management.
Open to profiles from operational accounting and financial analysis backgrounds.
