This leader will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of technical projects and initiatives that push the boundaries of what’s possible in hosting and cloud solutions. As the Director of Technical Delivery, you’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the high level of quality our clients expect from Liquid Web.This is a permanent, full-time, remote direct hire position with a pay range of $110k - $150K annually.Responsibilities:
Be “the go-to person” for the most complex IT Project Management assignmentsDelegate project tasks based on individual strengths, abilities, and experience levels of staff membersImplement disaster recovery and backup proceduresManage/direct one or more varied teams of individuals from all aspects of the organizationAnticipate project requirements and ensure goals are metBenchmark operations against industry and identify functional performance levelsForecast requirements and work to meet those requirements within the constraints of provided budget and timelines.Provide leadership, direction, and drive standardized project management methodologiesMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networksEnsure that all policies, new products, changes are identified and documentedContinuously identify and implement efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the teamBe responsible for the employee life cycle including; disciplinary actions, performance reviews, goal reaching activities, fostering a positive environment, following company policies, etc.Manage relevant partnership and licensing agreements and ensure compliancesParticipate in the incident management processSkills, Competencies, and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of certifications and/or experience10+ years technical project management experience with at least 5 years in a leadership roleSufficient level of technical aptitude to effectively assess and communicate any technical risks or challengesAble to present ideas, collaborate effectively, and influence at all levels of the organizationCreativity and flexibility to facilitate leveraging solutions for positive outcomesStrong perspective, understanding, and sensitivity towards business needs and hurdlesExceptional multitasking skills while maintaining a fine attention to detailAbility to exercise flexibility to quickly change priorities as neededExcellent, clear, and concise communication skills, both oral and writtenPreferred Qualifications:
