At Lennox International, we make your home, your businesses, and your work, a better place.The Business Solutions Lead Architect is a strategic position that partners with key stakeholders in the organization to create leading-edge, well-defined technology plans and solutions that are aligned with Lennox IT and Business Strategy. This role will be focusing on Global Trade Systems and Supply Chain management leading IT efforts in key functional areas such as Global trade compliance, Sourcing, Procure2Pay, and cross-functional domain areas such as Sales and Distribution and business analytics.DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Build strategic technology roadmaps.Identify challenges, opportunities and gaps in the business process and helps build technology strategy and plans to address them.Define the business use cases to support the operational business initiative.Define use cases for POC (proof of concept), as appropriate.Help guide the business and IT on architectural alternatives by clearly articulating the implications of each; short- and long-term solution.Identify and communicate risks (business, application, technical) associated with component or application implementation at the business level, and enterprise level.Participate in business and architecture planning sessions and anticipates future business and architecture changes and strategies.Responsible for devising solutions, solution architecture descriptions, and subsequent monitoring and governance of their implementation.Design and implement business solutions that link disparate processes and application systems.Evaluate the business process architecture and ensure it is flexible enough to support incremental development, ongoing maintenance, and future enhancements to the system architecture.Translate business objectives and processes into a conceptual architecture that describes key functional and non-functional requirements.Work with Enterprise and Application Architects to ensure the business process is considered during technical design.Accountable for the quality of the solution throughout the process. Adopt an internal change management process.Document the as-is business process and use value stream mapping techniques to identify and unclog process bottlenecks.Provide essential input as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to any major business process or business product-altering project.Work with the Segment Delivery Organization to communicate the business process strategy and vision; facilitates business process review meetings with the business stakeholders.Develop analysis tools to evaluate existing and future business architecture for compatibility with Lennox standards and vision.Advise on functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements of technology solutions.Recommend and implement information technology solutions in support of business operations.#LI-RM1#LI-Hybrid#LI-HybriQualifications:WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Masters degree or Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Requires at least 8+ years SAP functional experience with at least 2 to 3 years of GTS, Sourcing or Procure-to-Pay implementation-related experience.Prefer consulting background and experience.A background in supply chain management is a must-have.Previous experience as an IT Architect on programs.Experience working on O2C and P2P implementation projects.Experience with key architecture frameworks, patterns, and methods.Broad knowledge of and experience with a wide variety of application technologies, platforms, and tools including web-based systems, middleware/integration technologies.Proven track record of building Business solutions, functional specification, working closely with technical resources to develop the functionalities.Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow throughProblem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, where and when needed, to do whats right for the customer and for the organization (i.e., think through workarounds, evaluate risk of various deployment options, etc.)Strong consulting leading and mentoring skills along with excellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to lead projects with an end-to-end view into planning, organization, and executionExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsExcellent analytical and technical skillsHigh level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team player with ability to deliver within defined timelines, work under limited supervision and oversight.WHAT WE OFFER:At Lennox, our greatest assets are our employees, and we are committed to providing limitless opportunities for growth and development of all, largely promoting from within the organization. This is an onsite position.
