As an IAM/Zero Trust Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the operational tasks associated with Tesla's global platforms. Working closely with the multiple teams, your responsibilities will involve maintaining and optimizing the Zero-Trust infrastructure, ensuring its availability, and contributing to the overall success of Tesla's cybersecurity initiatives. Open to Austin, Seattle, and Buffalo locations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of Tesla's Zero-Trust platforms and aspects related to day to day operationsWork on user tickets, create user-facing documentation & knowledge collateral, and implement production environment revisions as guided by change management protocolsRespond to incidents and outages within SLA/OLA timelines, providing detailed postmortem reportsDevelop custom reporting, dashboards, and metrics for enhanced visibility into Zero-Trust servicesContribute to capacity planning, performance monitoring, and proactive analysis of infrastructureWork on preventive maintenance tasks for platform components and document physical/logical solutions, operational tasks, & proceduresParticipate in the analysis of system faults, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic testsProvide feedback based on user interactions and identify improvements in policies and implementationsEngage in 24/7 on-call rotation as requiredRequirements

Experience in operations or deployment roles, with a focus on Zero Trust strategies and enterprise network architecturesFamiliarity with Zero Trust concepts, capabilities, and strategiesExperience with automation and CI/CD is preferredStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex technical issuesPrevious experience in mission-critical operations, preferably within a 24x7 large-scale global environmentEffective verbal and written communication skillsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experienceCompensation and BenefitsBenefits

$120,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
