Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to analyze, design, and implement data models that support various data domains, including transactional, operational, and analytical solutions. This role requires expertise in developing optimized data models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high standards for data design and performance. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in data modeling and a proactive approach to addressing project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze legacy and current data usage across applications to design effective data models.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models tailored for relational and dimensional databases.
• Implement and optimize data models to support high-performance queries.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, data administrators, and developers to translate enterprise requirements into robust data solutions.
• Define, review, and document data modeling standards and best practices.
• Perform hands-on design, configuration, development, and performance tuning of data models.
• Support data architecture initiatives, including remodeling and re-platforming legacy application databases.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data modeling, or data architecture.
• Proficiency in data modeling for transactional systems, operational reporting, and analytical solutions (EDW, Data Lake).
• Expertise in Dimensional Modeling and Data Warehouse Modeling.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling tools like IDERA Data Architect or Erwin.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data access and analysis.
• Experience in cloud-based databases such as Azure/Fabric.
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to implementing data architecture on Azure/Fabric platforms.
• Proven experience in remodeling and re-platforming legacy databases.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Bachelors Degree
