Job Posting: Indirect Procurement Specialist - Temp
Pay:
$50hr to $52hr depending on experience level

Job Summary:We are seeking a Category Lead for a temporary position to provide comprehensive support in category management, strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier due diligence, and RFP processes. This role will enhance visibility into total spend and reduce costs through effective strategic sourcing and category management.
Essential Duties:Perform spend and market analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Conduct Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to meet indirect spend requirements.
Apply strategic sourcing practices to align with business needs regarding cost, quality, service, and delivery.
Drive supplier performance improvements and ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements.
Prepare business cases, including ROI models, and present cost-saving proposals for approval.
Stay current on supply market trends and best practices to inform procurement strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and procurement operations across multiple categories.
Proven experience leading RFx processes and managing supplier relationships.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
Keen attention to detail, with insights into market conditions and trends.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of developing negotiation strategies.
Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
Demonstrated diplomatic skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
Pay Details:
$55.00 to $62.00 per hour
