Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our client's team in Vancouver, Washington. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for supply chain management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, purchasing inventory, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with various departments to meet their procurement needs.Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders and deliveries.Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role.Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or similar preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.ERP or SAP experience is a big plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Pay Details:
$25.00 to $32.00 per hour
