What you will be doing...
As a Sales Manager, you will be a key player in driving sales growth and customer engagement for either our MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) or distribution services. Your role involves managing customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and ensuring the satisfaction of clients through tailored solutions and seamless service delivery.Customer Engagement & Sales Opportunity DevelopmentYou will actively engage with customers to understand their aviation needs and provide customized product recommendations. Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through networking and proactive outreach is essential, along with staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product innovations.Quoting, Order Management & Follow-upsYou will be responsible for preparing accurate quotes, ensuring timely follow-ups, and managing the order entry process. Coordination with internal teams will be crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues that arise during order processing.Sales Strategy & ExecutionYou will develop and implement sales strategies aimed at meeting or exceeding revenue targets, specifically for the Part 145 Repair Station or distribution sectors. Expanding existing accounts and acquiring new customers will be a key focus, alongside adapting strategies based on market trends and customer needs.Customer Relationship ManagementBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with key customers will ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty. Regularly meeting with clients to address their needs and manage contract negotiations will be vital in maintaining long-term partnerships.Sales Operations & Performance TrackingYou will track key performance metrics such as pipeline development, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts. Collaboration with the finance and operations teams will ensure accurate billing and invoicing, as well as timely payment collection.Team Collaboration & Cross-Departmental CoordinationAs a Sales Manager, you will work closely with other teams, including customer service, operations, and technical teams, to ensure seamless service delivery. Fostering a collaborative culture within the sales team is essential for achieving common goals.Compliance, Quality Assurance & Industry EngagementYou will ensure that all sales activities are compliant with industry regulations and company policies, particularly in Part 145 operations. Attending industry events and networking will help you stay informed on the latest developments and represent the company.Flexibility & Additional DutiesAdaptability and flexibility are key, as you may be required to take on additional responsibilities to support the team and meet business objectives.What we are looking for...
You will need to have:
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Aviation Management, or a related field.Extensive Experience:
A minimum of 5+ years in the aviation industry, with at least 5+ years in a sales role, demonstrating a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.Industry Knowledge:
A deep understanding of aviation products, services, and industry dynamics, with the ability to navigate complex customer requirements and regulatory landscapes.Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills, and the ability to learn and utilize proprietary software systems effectively.Analytical and Organizational Skills:
Strong research, analytical, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.Flexibility and Travel:
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent FCAH Aerospace.Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Quantum Experience:
