accessiBe is looking for an experienced, energetic & motivated Senior Accountant with a strong background in general ledger accounting. The Senior General Ledger Accountant plays a critical role in accessiBe's accounting operation, monthly close and is responsible for preparing and delivering for all aspects of the general ledger processes. In addition to properly accounting for the growth, this person will be expected to drive positive process change. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of combined month end close experience at a tech/SaaS company with global presence. This role will be reporting to Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing and posting month-end accrual, prepaid entries, fixed asset, cap software, lease, payroll, commissions, stock-based compensation, and other miscellaneous entries.Prepare month-end account reconciliations, research and resolve issues timely, and assist with the preparation of financial statements.Review and approve vender bills processed by AP specialist to ensure proper coding to GL account and cost center, and transactions are posted appropriately to the correct accounting period. Reconcile vendor statements and correct discrepancies.Review and process employee expense reimbursements ensuring compliance with company policies. Work with credit card holders to ensure all transactions are coded and classed correctly and reconcile monthly.Record cash activity into the general ledger, reconcile bank statements to the general ledger, and research/resolve any un-reconciled cash transactions timely and accurately.Prepare monthly cash analysis and forecastPrepare monthly flux analysis and provide explanations for variancesSpecial Projects: Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field4 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience in progressively responsible rolesStrong working knowledge of US GAAP principles, ASC 606, and financial statements with multi-entity and multi-currency environment preferredAdvanced proficiency in spreadsheets (MS Excel & Google Sheets) and experience with ERP preferably NetSuiteExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPublic accounting experience preferred; CPA certification a plus

Advantages• The salary band for this position ranges from

$85,000 - $100,000
