Job Summary:Classic Hyundai - Wilkesboro is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to oversee the operations of our service department. This is a full-time management position in the automotive industry, based in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. The Service Manager will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the service department. This is a challenging and rewarding position for a skilled and results-driven individual.
Compensation & Benefits:As a Service Manager at Classic Hyundai - Wilkesboro, you will receive a competitive base salary of $90,000 to $140,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. In addition to the base salary, you will also have the opportunity to earn commission based on the performance of the service department. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan.
Responsibilities:•Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and customer service.•Hire, train, and manage a team of skilled technicians, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs effectively.•Monitor and track department performance, including revenue, expenses, and customer satisfaction. Take corrective action when needed to meet or exceed targets.•Develop and implement service policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.•Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for service upsells and develop strategies to increase service department revenue.•Maintain good relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms for the purchase of parts and supplies.•Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations and make recommendations for improvements or changes to the service department.•Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

CDK EXPERIENCE A PLUS!!!!!
•2+ years of experience in a management role in the automotive service industry.•Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.•Proven track record of meeting and exceeding service department targets and goals.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.•Familiarity with automotive service software and diagnostic tools.•Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.•Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
