We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, specializing in DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development, and strong expertise in Unix/Linux environments. They should also be skilled in using tools like SonarQube for code quality, containerization with Docker, and cloud platforms. A deep understanding of DevOps practices, cloud security best practices, and networking fundamentals for designing cross-region and multi-cloud systems is essential. The role involves designing scalable backend systems, integrating security best practices, managing cloud environments, and enhancing system performance and efficiency. Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog and ELK stack, as well as building large data infrastructures, is highly desirable. The candidate will also stay updated on the latest trends in platform engineering and cloud security to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable backend systems that process and manage large volumes of data.Integrate security best practices into the platform engineering process, ensuring that security is a core component of all platform initiatives.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines that incorporate security checks and automate platform deployments.Implement and manage security controls for cloud environments, ensuring that cloud-native applications are secure, compliant, and optimized for performance.Enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of both front-end and back-end systems.Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.Ensure robust security practices across all cloud infrastructure, adhering to compliance requirements.Monitor system performance and apply optimizations to maximize uptime and efficiency.Required qualifications:

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (B.Tech, BE), or a related field such as MCA (Master of Computer Applications) is required for this role.Experience:

12+ years in platform engineering, with a focus on DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.Infrastructure as Code:

Hands-on experience with tools like CloudFormation for managing infrastructure as code.CI/CD:

Proficiency in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.Unix/Linux:

Strong expertise in Unix/Linux environments.Tool Proficiency:

Experience with SonarQube or similar tools for code quality and continuous integration.Cloud & Docker:

Extensive experience with cloud platforms and containerization using Docker.DevOps:

Deep understanding of DevOps practices, with a focus on automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.Automation:

Strong experience in automating security and platform processes, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.Networking:

Solid networking fundamentals, with experience in designing cross-region and multi-cloud systems.Security:

Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.Observability:

Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like Datadog, and ELK stack.Large Data Infrastructure:

Experience in building an infrastructure capable of handling large volumes of data.
