REPORTS TO :SABG Task Lead

FLSA STATUS :Regular Full-Time Exempt

SUMMARY : SABG is hiring an Acquisition Management/Programmatic Analysts to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) with development and analysis of programmatic data for program management support, to include monitoring and reporting against the acquisition program baselines and assistance with program oversight and execution briefings. Alternative responsibilities may encompass development and execution of acquisition strategies/plans, contract requirements packages (e.g., writing SOWs, CDRLs, special provisions, source selection evaluation plans).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :Capable of comprehending acquisition management/programmatic analysis to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

BA/BS in related field with 10 years relevant experience10 years directly supporting a Federal Acquisition or DoD program(s) as an acquisition/program analyst overseeing cost, schedule, and performance5 years in a DoD program management and integration environment providing strategic level analysis, communications, and staff coordination for executive level reviewMA/MS, PMP or DAWIA Level III certification may substitute for 3 years of experienceCOMPUTER SKILLS :

Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipmentMust have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)COMPETENCIES : To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

LANGUAGE SKILLS :Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
