SUMMARY : SABG is Hiring an Advanced Strategic Planning Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in the National Capital Region (NCR), Ft. Belvoir, VA. Intermediate Analysts will support Agency Executives and Senior Leaders with day-to-day mission planning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.Strategic planning support to the Directorate of Engineering (DE) front office group.Execute day to day office operations and mission planning associated with senior executive level leadership including serving as an advisor and assisting with detailed planning of complex management projects, issues, and initiatives.Capable of delivering a high level of customer support and integration, handling several complex tasks simultaneously.Possess an elevated understanding and experience in DE to develop and refine PowerPoint presentations, documents and Talking Points for the Director, the MDA Program Executive for Programs and Integration, and DE Director.Review staff packages appropriately for DE Front Office approval; which includes editing final products for historic relevance and current DE considerations.Perform as Master of Ceremonies for the DE All Hands and Semi-Annual Awards Ceremonies.Create and edit the Weekly Report for a large, complex organization, to be used by the MDA Director and senior staff.Assist with preparing for executive reviewsSupport the decision-making process by organizing attendance, classified and unclassified information, and capturing meeting notes.SUPERVISION :This position has no supervisory responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :Capable of providing expertise in Strategic Planning, Programmatic and Communication techniques and processes to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems. Mid-level working knowledge, skills and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE :

BA/BS and 3 years' experience in administrative/business field; AA and 4 years' experience in administrative/business field; or 10 years' experience in administrative/business field.Possess 2+ years' experience supporting CEO level military equivalent (Senior Executive Service (SES) or Flag Officer).Experience planning, facilitating and conducting executive-level activities.Proficient in preparing, reviewing and coordinating executive level correspondence.Experience planning, facilitating and conducting organizational studies and presenting results and recommendations.Proficient in researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials (e.g. briefings, papers, readahead).Must possess exceptionally strong analytical skills to conduct planning and analysis, and trend analysisProficient in government task management systems.Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well within a team, interact with multiple levels of management, and be able to manage customer and contractor relationshipsAbility to organize and prioritize workSkills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipmentPossess exceptionally strong writing skillsProficient in developing and maintaining schedules including calendar synchronization of events and integration of activities for senior leaders.COMPUTER SKILLS :

Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipmentMust have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)CLEARANCE : Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

LANGUAGE SKILLS :Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and/or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
