SUMMARY:
The Acquisition Analyst will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) with development and analysis of programmatic data for program management support, to include monitoring and reporting against the acquisition program baselines, to include assistance with program oversight and execution briefings. Alternative responsibilities may encompass development and execution of acquisition strategies/plans, contract requirements packages, and supporting prime contract monitoring/management activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS in related field with 5 years relevant experience; MA/MS, CAPM, PMP or DAWIA Level II certification may substitute for 3 years of experience5+ years directly supporting a Federal Acquisition program(s) as an acquisition/program analyst overseeing cost, schedule, and performanceAbility to prepare acquisition strategy for an Acquisition Strategy Panel and Acquisition Strategy Board or equivalentAbility to review, process, and formulate strategy productsAbility to draft acquisition products, i.e. Inter-Agency Acquisition Requirements (IAR), i.e. briefings, MOAs, and IAR Support Agreements desiredAbility to draft Acquisition program correspondence/status reports, i.e. memorandums, EXSUMs, white papers, and Ad Hoc reports
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipmentMust have proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CLEARANCE:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship)Active DoD Secret clearance desired
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format.May be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 15 pounds.
