Position Summary/General Description:

The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing field service operations for Las Vegas and regional tradeshows and events. This role includes managing pre-show, on-site, and post-show activities, ensuring efficient coordination and execution of all related tasks to the set-up and take down in field locations. The Field Service Supervisor reports directly to the Las Vegas Sr City Manager and collaborates closely with the Labor Manager to lead and support the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise booths and be a liaison for field service coordinators and staff throughout the show floor operations, ensuring seamless execution of tasks from pre-show through post-show phases. Oversee the preparation of materials for on-site events, including Field Service Packages, setup drawings, ensuring all resources are adequately planned and distributed in coordination with the City manager. Ensure timely and accurate execution of logistics plans. Supervise the on-site check-in of all labor through "clock in/out" on labor tickets and ensure booth checks regularly. Oversee the management of on-site job box materials and documentation. Draft, monitor, and follow up on field service requests. Provide regular updates and status checks to the on-site lead supervisor, ensuring prompt resolution of issues while delivering excellent customer service. Act as the primary liaison between the general contractor, show management, exhibit hall, and labor for required credentials/wristbands. Maintain effective communication and coordination with all stakeholders. Maintain the show-site desk during install and dismantle hours, logging all accident reports and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Arrange and file field service requests during dismantle for clients. Assist the city manager and labor manager with scheduling labor and provide support for SWD-based traveling supervisors, including filing paperwork and making travel arrangements. Skills and Qualifications:

4-6 years of on-site trade show/event experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably involving union labor. In-depth understanding of exhibit operations, procedures, and union rules. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and time management skills. Proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems effectively. Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional support and resolution.

Requirements:

Travel: Occasional travel, less than 10%.

Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible, demanding schedule, including extended hours and weekends as needed.
