This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing Catalyst division and focus on development of our Poly Propylene line of products. In this role as a Planner/Scheduler you will develop maintenance plans and schedules to establish the sequence and timing required for work orders within our plant. Responsibilities
You will be responsible for communicating and maintaining schedules to ensure access for all affected parties and prevent delays. Create, document, and maintain task list and technical plant documentation. Ensure proper closure and accurate information for work orders, distribute procedures, and continually update job plans based on feedback. Maintain asset tracking and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP and initiate equipment repair processes and provide feedback on parts inventory. Ensure adherence to safety standards and support site safety and environmental objectives. Develop weekly and outage maintenance schedules, optimize resource use, and conduct regular planning meetings. You will also develop and support shutdown/outage plans, analyse equipment needs, and support post-outage reviews. Study best practices, maintain a preventive maintenance culture, and conduct regular review meetings for optimization. Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from college/university/technical school; or >5 years equivalent education/experience in Maintenance Seeking 3+ years related experience in maintenance planning and scheduling (perferred) Excellent electrical, mechanical, and spatial aptitude with the ability to learn and apply root cause analyses, lean and six sigma methodologies. You should have excellent organizational skills including the ability to maintain and update required documentation (Proactive backlog Management experience a plus) Seeking a clear and effective communicator with the ability to lead without formal authority Should have excellent computer skills: (including strong Excel skills), strong experience with a CMMS (SAP perferred).
