Summary :

Working in conjunction with the Marketing Director, responsibilities include the gathering, reviewing data to management and leadership staff in a manner that stimulates and supports innovative and enlightened thinking and decision making; ensuring overall data integrity; performing efficiently and accurately the creation of subsets of data, supporting the accompanying analysis and reporting. Capable of absorbing, processing, and summarizing large amounts of information into concise data sets. Responsible for identifying opportunities within our existing database. Help enable marketing tactics by providing technical expertise in areas such as market segmentation, data extraction for outbound campaigns, the creation of marketing-qualified leads (MQLs), and report creation to measure campaign effectiveness. Must be able to manage multiple diverse project deadlines in a fast paced environment. Requires critical thinking, excellent organization and planning skills with strong attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following:Build targeted lists for email, direct mail, and outbound calling campaignsDevelop programmatic means for importing and extracting data from business systemsImplement campaigns with collaboration of Marketing DirectorResponsible for all direct mail lists for use in house and by our advertising agency.Responsible for running reports based on direct mail response results, information collected during special event, promotions or for detailed Marketing analysisRecords information on new customers, and updates computer files as needed.Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.Acts as a resource to customers and fellow associates, by maintaining a working knowledge of the Company's facilities and special events, promotions and advising customers of same.Promotes the success of the Player's Club, by explaining this marketing tool to customers, issuing membership cards and demonstrating the various methods of use.Resolves customer complaints, referring to the appropriate supervisor when necessary.Facilitates the effective management of information, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Education and Experience:

Combination of specialized training and experience with demonstrated experience/proficiency in working with data for the purposes of reporting. Demonstrated understanding of standard business practices and issues related to data use. Demonstrated attention to detail. Must have solid working knowledge of database management and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and others.

Special Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality required. Must be a self-starter, motivated, versatile and responsible. Must be familiar with, and able to operate, computers, printers, and card punch machines. Must be skilled with variety of programs and software packages used for tracking, reporting and analysis including but not limited to: Excel, Adobe, FoxPro, VizExplorer, IGT Advantage.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply basic principles of math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply principles of logical, commonsense thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
