Job Summary/Objective:The Senior Specialist, Operations Maintenance Coordination role is responsible for overall coordination of maintenance activity that is required to ensure equipment reliability at the lowest cost.Key aspects of this position include:* Ensuring overall effectiveness and safe execution of the various maintenance processes (planning, scheduling, reactive/breakdown, preventive, predictive, autonomous, etc.).* Providing 'gatekeeping' for requested work while determining approval and timing of work execution or disapproval for discretionary requests.* Sharing ownership of maintenance budget adherence by aligning maintenance and production leadership during capacity based weekly scheduling of maintenance resources for production and facility assets.* Communicating effectively between maintenance, production, engineering, and contract resources.* Maintaining accurate information on maintenance work requests so that maintenance resources can meet or exceed the expectations of each requestor.Key Responsibilities* Safety of maintenance work execution in the facility* Manages problem solving requirements on consequential and/or chronic equipment issues.* Ensures planner feedback for significant deviation in work execution and duration.* Drives PM compliance through prioritization during scheduling activities.* Reviews notifications to ensure accurate input and prioritization of information.* Serves as the gate keeper for routine work approval/disapproval.* Builds the weekly schedule based on available capacity of resources.* Manages 'break-in' work impacts to weekly schedule, adjusting to meet production needs.* Leads maintenance budget development and management.* Tracks transactional process performance including data accuracy and ability to meet customer expectations.Education, Experience, Skills
